Lamborghini Squadra Corse and HP Composites, Ascoli's leading company in the production of carbon fiber products, have signed a strategic partnership agreement that will tie the two companies up to 2020, thus creating a unique professional collaboration.
A relationship that has grown and consolidated over time: professionalism, precision in work, reliability and the high level of technology, are some of the key points that have led to the creation of this partnership between the two Italian realities protagonists in the car and in the working of composite materials.
Both present in the world of Motorsport, united by the same passion for innovation and excellence, will work side by side: HP will provide for the house of Sant'Agata Bolognese engineering services and tooling, as well as equipment and components for its cars competition.
The combination Lamborghini Squadra Corse - HP Composites will come to life on the tracks of the major championships around the world, where Lamborghini is busy with the Huràcan GT3.
On all the cars in the category the bodywork components and the aerodynamic kits are made entirely of carbon fiber in the Ascoli Piceno plants.
As the General Manager of HP Composites, Eng. Abramo Levato, said: "We are proud and really happy to be able to support a key player like Lamborghini in this path."
A winning combination if you think about the results obtained in the season just begun. The Huràcan GT3 has collected 2 important victories in equally important competitions of the American IMSA championship: the 24 hours of Daytona and the 12 hours of Sebring in the GTD category, and Lamborghini is the only manufacturer in history to have won these two classic endurance in the same season.
Moreover, this collaboration has given life to a project that will be put in place for the first time in Italy during the Lamborghini Super Trofeo single-brand championship which will take place on 21st-22nd April at Monza.
A challenge that these two realities are preparing to face.
